Day 1: M'hamid -- Sidi Naji
The camel trek in the Moroccan desert begins in M'Hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, riding dromedaries towards the tomb of Sidi Naji, passing by Morocco's longest river, the Drâa River. We take a midday break in the shade of tamarisk trees. In the afternoon, we reach the dunes of the marabout Sidi Naji to enjoy the sunset. Overnight bivouac with an evening around the fire. Sleep under the stars or in a tent.
Day 2: Sidi Naji -- Azmila
The camel trek in the Moroccan desert continues after breakfast. We continue crossing the Moroccan desert towards the Azmila dunes. We take only one walking stage through the desert to enjoy the beautiful Azmila dunes in the afternoon and the sunset over the dunes. Evening around the fire preparing sand bread. Sleep under the stars or in a tent.
Day 3: Azmila -- Erg Zahar
The path continues towards the dunes of Zahar (Howling Dunes), one of the largest dunes in Morocco. possibility of a single stage walk. evening entertain around the fire. Night under the stars or in a tent.
Day 4: Erg Zahar -- Erg Essmar
We continue crossing the Moroccan desert towards Erg Essmar which is on the edge of the Draa Valley. Night in a tent or under the stars in the desert of Morocco.
Day 5: Erg Essmar -- Bougarne
Resumption of the walk towards the dunes of Bougarne. Lunch break in the shade of the tamarisk trees. Night in tents or under the stars.
Day 6: Bougarne -- Kraiâat Ajmal
Departure in the morning passing by a volcanic plateau where you can find fossils. Midday break on the path in the shade of the Acacia Raddiana. Overnight in tents or under the stars in Kraiaat Ajmal.
Day 7: Kraiâat Ajmal -- Mhamid
It is already the day of return to the village the door of the Moroccan desert. Lunch on the road. Arrival in the village at the end of the afternoon.
