Departure at 8:30 AM from Marrakech to the Moroccan desert, crossing the Tizi-N’Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. Lunch in Ouarzazate before taking the stunning route through the Draa Valley. Overnight at the bivouac in M'hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert.
The adventure in the Moroccan desert begins in M’hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, on camels heading to the tomb of Sidi Naji, crossing the Draa River. A pause along the way in the shade of tamaris trees. In the afternoon, we reach the dunes by the marabout of Sidi Naji to enjoy the sunset. Bivouac on site with an entertaining evening around the fire. Overnight under the stars or in a tent.
Day 3: Sidi Naji Dunes – Adouib Dunes.
After breakfast, we resume our journey towards the Adouib dunes. On this day, we will take only one walking stage to enjoy a peaceful afternoon. Evening around the fire with a tasting of traditional sand bread. Overnight under the stars or in a tent.
Day 4: Adouib Dunes – M'hamid.
We continue our camel-paced journey towards the village of M’hamid. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, return to the village. Overnight in the village.
Morning departure to Marrakech via the beautiful road that crosses the High Atlas and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass at 2260m altitude. Visit to an argan oil production cooperative. Lunch on the road.
