Departure from Marrakech around 9:00 AM. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel/riad in Marrakech.
After about an hour and a half of driving through the stunning Atlas Mountains, we will arrive at the village of Imlil, the starting point for hikes to ascend Toubkal. You will have the opportunity to walk around the village and admire the splendid surrounding landscapes.
Hike to Aremd
The excursion from Marrakech continues with a short guided hike to the village of Aremd, located about an hour's walk from Imlil. Along the way, we will pass through lush fields, authentic Berber villages, and picturesque waterfalls.
Lunch in Aremd
In Aremd, we will enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant, where you will savor a traditional Berber meal while enjoying a breathtaking view of the High Atlas Mountains.
Visit to the Zaouia of the Sufi Moulay Brahim
After lunch, we will continue the excursion from Marrakech to the village of Moulay Brahim, famous for its shrine and mausoleum in Morocco. We will visit the village, the shrine, and learn about the history and spirituality of the region.
Stop at Lalla Takerkoust
In the late afternoon, we will stop at Lalla Takerkoust Lake to relax and appreciate the magnificent view of the lake and the Atlas Mountains. We will also have the opportunity to take a boat ride, subject to availability.
Return to Marrakech
We will return to your hotel/riad in Marrakech in the early evening, with memorable souvenirs of your excursion to the Berber villages and Lalla Takerkoust Lake.
