The excursion from Marrakech starts at 8:00 AM in front of your hotel or Riad in Marrakech, heading towards Essaouira. On the way, we enjoy the diversity of landscapes, from fertile plains to the arid hills of Morocco. We make several stops in the argan tree region to see the goats that climb the argan trees. You will have the opportunity to take photos of this unique Moroccan scene and learn about the process of harvesting argan nuts, which are used to produce argan oil, a specialty of the region.
Arrival in Essaouira Around 11:00 AM:
We arrive at the fortified city of Essaouira, on the Atlantic Ocean. You can explore the whitewashed alleys of the medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and admire its unique architecture. Stroll through the colorful souks to buy handcrafted souvenirs, spices, and jewelry.
Lunch in Essaouira Around 1:00 PM:
Have lunch at one of the many seafood restaurants by the sea, enjoying fresh and delicious dishes if you like fish, or opt for traditional Moroccan dishes if you prefer.
Afternoon:
Free time to discover the medina and the beach of Essaouira, famous for its ideal winds for kitesurfing and windsurfing. You can visit the bustling fishing port to watch the fishermen unload their catch. Also, stroll along the medina and its long walls to admire panoramic views of the ocean.
Return to Marrakech Around 4:30 PM:
We will leave Essaouira to return to Marrakech, arriving in Marrakech in the early evening, around 7:00 PM.
