We will begin our adventure by exploring the Valley of Roses, passing through the Skoura Oasis and its beautiful Kasbahs. A short hike will take us to Boutaghrar, a charming Berber village along the Mgoun River, nestled in the Atlas Mountains. We will continue our excursion towards the Todra Gorge. Overnight in Tinghir.
We will head towards the Moroccan desert in Merzouga, passing through the Todra Gorge. A walking tour will allow us to explore the gorge and Tinghir. In the afternoon, we will reach the dunes of Merzouga via the Tafilalt Valley and Erfoud. A camel ride will give us the chance to enjoy the sunset over the sea of sand in the desert. Overnight in a bivouac.
We will depart from the Todra Gorge heading towards the Merzouga desert. A camel trek will let us appreciate a stunning sunset before reaching the bivouac in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara, where we will experience Berber hospitality under a starry sky. Enjoy a musical evening and spend the night in a tent.
After enjoying the sunrise in the Moroccan desert, we will mount our camels again to reach our 4x4 vehicle. We will continue our circuit, which starts in Marrakech, heading towards Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will traverse the beautiful Draa Valley and pass through the villages of Raissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and finally Nqob, where we will take a lunch break. In the afternoon, our adventure will take us to Tansikht, following the ancient caravan route through the Draa Valley. We will head north, crossing the Tizi-N-Tinfifite pass (at 1660 m altitude) in the Anti-Atlas. We will spend the night in Ouarzazate.
