Departure in the morning by 4x4 towards the Lihoudi dunes in the Moroccan desert, via the Tizi-n-Tinfifte pass at 1700 meters and the oasis of Agdez. We arrive at Tinzouline to visit Foum Chenna and its rock engravings of animals as well as the Amazigh (Berber) inscriptions dating back 4000 years. We have a lunch break in Zagora. The adventure continues in the afternoon towards the Moroccan desert, passing through Tamgrout to visit the ancient Quranic school and library dating back to the 11th century, and then we visit the pottery-making kilns. We arrive at the gateway to the Moroccan desert, M’hamid, to join the Lihoudi dune (Jewish dune) on camelback for approximately 1.5 hours. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes followed by a musical evening around the fire. Overnight stay at the camp Berber in tents.
After breakfast, we ride camels back to M’hamid, the gateway to the Moroccan desert, and enjoy a traditional tea with the locals. We continue the journey to visit the kasbah of Oulad Dress and then Zagora. Lunch in the village of Oulad Othman. On the way, we visit the ancient kasbah of Tamnougalt. We arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, enriched with unforgettable memories of our incredible adventure in the Moroccan desert.
